Crown has not decided how to proceed after dangerous offender assessment
Court was adjourned Thursday in Prince Albert without a sentence for the man accused of a brutal assault in the city that left a woman badly burned.
Leslie Black appeared via video link from Regina for his sentencing hearing July 30. The Crown is considering whether to pursue labelling Black a dangerous offender for his attack on Marlene Bird. The assessment has been completed but the Crown has not yet decided how to proceed.
